Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 29, 2026 · Last updated: July 29, 2026

Theba LLC (“Theba,” “we,” “us”) operates theballc.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have kept it short because we collect very little.

1. What we collect

We collect personal information in only one situation: when you choose to send it to us.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for payment information through this website.

2. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no social media trackers, and no third-party fonts or scripts. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not track you across other websites.

Because we set no cookies and do no tracking, there is nothing here for a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal to disable. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy before doing so.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you send us to:

We do not use your information to send marketing emails or newsletters unless you separately ask us to.

4. Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for anyone else’s marketing purposes. We have never done so. Your information reaches third parties only in these limited ways:

These providers process data on our instructions. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

5. Manuscripts and client materials

Manuscripts, drafts, and other materials you send us in the course of a project are treated as confidential. We do not publish, share, quote, distribute, or use them for any purpose other than performing the work you engaged us for. We do not use client manuscripts to train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems, and we do not submit them to third-party AI services. Confidentiality obligations are set out further in our Terms of Use.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond and, where a project follows, for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for business, accounting, and legal recordkeeping — typically no more than three years after our last contact with you. You may ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 8).

7. Security

This website is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. We limit access to submissions to those who need it to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal information — such as Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or financial account details — through the contact form.

8. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you may ask us to:

Email hello@theballc.com and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by confirming you control the email address associated with the information.

California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. In the past twelve months we have collected identifiers (name and email address) and the content of communications you sent us, for the business purposes described in Section 3. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not sell or share personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@theballc.com. You may use an authorized agent, in which case we will ask for proof of authorization.

Other U.S. states

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others — have comparable rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability. We extend the rights described above to all visitors regardless of residence. We do not process personal information for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

9. International visitors

Theba LLC is based in the United States, and any information you send us is processed and stored in the United States. Privacy laws there may differ from those where you live. By contacting us, you understand your information will be handled as described in this policy. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our lawful basis for processing your inquiry is our legitimate interest in responding to you, or the steps taken at your request before entering a contract.

10. Children

This website is intended for adults and for business inquiries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

This website may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the revised policy.
